Our Board members are true change agents who support visionary actions. They represent the multifaceted nature of our region’s health care—rural and urban, public and private, health plans and health systems and social determinants of health organizations. The Board prioritizes input from our Health Champions and Leadership Council to drive our vision to be the healthiest region in the state. Above all, they are champions for healthy people and thriving communities.
The BHT Board receives policy recommendations from the Leadership Council and Technical Councils. They are the final decision for Medicaid Transformation Projects.
Our Leadership Council is comprised of health and community leaders from around the region, representing the multiple sectors needed to improve community health. The purpose of the LC is to serve as an informational meeting ground between the six county Collaboratives, technical councils and the ACH. Through quarterly meetings and monthly webinars, the Council will connect our work to larger changes in healthcare and look for opportunities engage the broader community in transformational change.
Each technical council is co-chaired by a Board and Leadership Council member. They make policy recommendations to the Board, and receive feedback from Collaboratives on proposed policy.
The Collaboratives are comprised of Health System and Social Determinant partners serving as the activation network for Transformation Projects.
