Open Enrollment 10: Health Coverage for 2023

Open Enrollment season is upon us!

Healthplanfinder customers can begin shopping for a 2022 Qualified Health Plan (QHP) and Qualified Dental Plan (QDP) on November 1, 2022. For their coverage to start January 1, 2023, customers must select a plan by December 15, 2022, and make their first month’s payment within 30 days of enrolling. Open Enrollment ends on January 15, 2023.

Spokane County will have 7 health insurance carriers and 4 dental insurance carriers to choose from, all with varying coverage options to meet customers’ needs during 2023. See Washington’s health plans by county.

Key Dates

  • November 1, 2022: Open Enrollment Starts – New customers can start shopping and enrolling in Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) for coverage beginning January 1, 2023.

  • December 15, 2022: Last Day to Enroll for January 1 Start Date – New and existing customers should choose a plan by December 15 for coverage starting January 1, 2023.

  • January 15, 2023: Open Enrollment Ends – Customers who enroll by January 15 will have a February 1, 2023 start date.
