Better Health Together (BHT) is committed to working with Community Partners to develop solutions to homelessness and better support those in our community experiencing homelessness. To support our region's ongoing Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YDHP) efforts, BHT recently brought the Spokane Youth Action Board (YAB) into its network of supported community-based leadership Collaboratives. The YAB plays an important role as the Youth Action Board for our community's YHDP work.
The Spokane Youth Action Board (YAB) is a group of youth and young adults with lived experiences of homelessness and housing instability. We work to change systems and develop solutions through community collaboration and advocacy. The YAB also plays an important role as the Youth Action Board for our community's Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP).
